TIPS FOR PARENTS
To make it possible for your child to enjoy the ski-classes and have fun and for you to spent a nice and relaxed holiday we offer you some tips.
- If it is possible book classes one day in advance
- Please try to be on time ( meeting time 9.45 ), because there is always something to organise you may have questions or the ski-instructor wants to inform you about special events. And so we can start at 10.00 with lessons or maybe already 5 minutes earlier.
- As it is always possible that something unexpected happens please leave a telefonnumber with the ski-instructor so we are able to reach you ( very important for the youngest children ! )
- If your child has never been on skis before and is in one of our beginners-classes please do not stay to long with the group. Your child will be distracted by your presence. Observe the lessons from some distance.
- Give your child the chance to become acquainted with the ski-instructor as well as with the new surrounding, the skis, the snow, the heavy ski-boots. It is important that your child can take it is time to get used to the new situation the easier it will find the next steps.
- Then you pick up your child from ski-classes please let the ski-instructor know that you to so!! Otherwise a big search might be the result.
- Safety has first priority !! To wear a helmet and is important to protect your child. We recommend for every child to wear a helmet.
- Please pay attention that long scarves or ribbons might lead to accidents especially strangulation !!
- Do not save on wrong places. Taking your dusty skis out of the basement thinking good enough for a beginner does not pay off. Skiing should be fun and the new carving technology makes it much easier – and not only for children!!
- Take car of good equipment. Only with well prepared skis and a ski-boot who fits it is fun to ski. Helmet, gloves, goggles or sunglasses are also part of the equipment.
- The ski-school is not part of the Zauchensee Liftgesellschaft That means lift-tickets are not included in the ski-school-ticket!!
Should there, in spite of our effort, be something you do not approve of please contact us immediately at the office. Suggestions witch reach us at the end of the week or even weeks later per e-mail will not save your holiday!!
